See horrifying moment crocodile swallows big zebra whole (photos)

- Crocodile attacks and swallows zebra that is almost its size. The scenes have been captured in jaw-dropping photos at the great Maasai Mara National reserve in Kenya

- The photos, taken by photographer Subramania Sridharan, shows a scary scene of the hungry and deadly crocodile devours its lunch in a murky and bloody battle for survival between the predator and the prey

- Interestingly, the crocodiles also has to fight off other equally daring beasts to keep its food, or it could lose everything, including life

Filming or photographing a crocodile take on a bigger prey like zebra is, perhaps, one of the most frightening things to do. Not only do you put your life at risk, but you also have to wear a heart of stone in order not to feel pain of watching an innocent prey die in full glare of the lens.
